Rheinmetall Electronics Solutions division operates an Integrated Electronic System Business Unit that manages a Cyber Solutions business area

Tactical Systems are a key part of the business area strategy. Tactical systems in this context means Satellite Communications Monitoring solutions that are primarily used by Governments and armed forces for communication security purposes.

This is an international business with state of the art technology and products, provided to a highly highly complex market where customers require and respect confidentiality.

This is a senior management position in the engineering/technical team of the Cyber Solutions business area. This role will suit a technically inquisitive, customer focused individual with good business acumen who has experience in a similar technical area.


  • Developing and owning the overall product development strategy for the Tactical Systems product line
  • Leading technical support to sales activities for Tactical System opportunities
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and further development of the product line with consideration of strategic guidelines and goals of the Business Area
  • Support to the sales Team as follows :
    • Supporting the sales process
    • Targeted marketing campaigns
    • Presentation of product portfolio to customers and partners
    • Preparation of marketing material
    • Technical selling to clients and potential clients
  • Make or buy decisions to achieve economic success for the product line
  • Close cooperation with innovation hub i.e.:
    • Market observation in order to identify actual trends
    • Technical assessment of new trends and procedures
    • Preparation of market-, product-, cost-benefit-ratio and competitive analysis (SWOT-Analysis)
    • Derivation and initiation of reasonable economic measures


  • Completed technical university degree
  • Longtime experience in project management, sales or technical development
  • Desirable: Project-Management-Certificate Level C (GPM standard)
  • Experience in leading teams without direct line management responsibility
  • Experience in Product Management; best in managing products for security agencies
  • Technical expertise in satellite communications and communications data analysis
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • High intercultural competence and willingness to work with people with different cultural background
    • High level of competency in written English
  • A European or Singaporean resident
