As department manager (m/f/d) of the electromagnetic compatibility area, you are responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the corresponding employees. In addition to planning and conducting internal and external EMC tests, you are also responsible for the subsequent release of vehicles and systems. Your tasks will include:

  • Carrying out, supervising and documenting tests on vehicles, systems and assemblies of internal and external customers to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • Error analysis incl. cause identification and corrective measures
  • Preparation of EMC test reports for internal and external customers
  • Consulting and setting of EMC test plans as well as EMC circuit measures
  • Presentation and illustration of technical facts with reference to EMC
  • Determination and calculation of measurement uncertainties in the EMC laboratory according to standard specifications


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar
  • Professional experience in the field of electromagnetic compatibility
  • First management experience
  • Knowledge in handling EMC software and control software
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, PDM, MS Access)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Structured and reliable way of working
  • Willingness for occasional business trips
