• Responsible for the performance- and quality-oriented planning and execution of national and international projects in the field of flight simulation
  • Ensuring all measures relevant to the execution of the project in order to achieve success
  • Technical leadership of interdisciplinary project teams (without disciplinary responsibility)
  • Conducting negotiations with customers, partners and suppliers
  • Supplier management in coordination with the purchasing department
  • Sustainable maintenance of customer contacts as well as active international relationship management to identify and utilise further sales potentials
  • Supporting the sales department in the acquisition phase
  • Progress monitoring and evaluation as well as preparation of reports from controlling reports
  • Ensuring contract, risk and claim management externally and internally
  • Responsibility as Accountable Manager (m/f/d) Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) in flight simulation
  • Development and implementation of all short-, medium- and long-term measures to achieve and fulfil the MTO approval in close coordination with the management based on the requirements from EMAR 147, as well as customer requirements.
  • Development of concepts to improve the training concept, work processes and quality assurance of the MTO
  • Presence at important transactions and in all cases where the legislator prescribes an Accountable Manager (m/f/d), e.g. in court and out-of-court negotiations or complaint cases


  • Completed technical studies
  • Many years of experience in project management as well as in the technical leadership of teams
  • Professional experience as a soldier desirable (preferably in a technical assignment, preferably also as an instructor) 
  • Understanding of the relevant processes and regulatory requirements of the civil and military aviation industry; experience in the management of a Part 147 operation would be an advantage
  • Business fluent English (written and spoken), other foreign languages (Spanish, French) desirable
  • Willingness to travel worldwide as well as high intercultural competence and willingness to work in an international environment
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as a goal-oriented and independent way of working
  • Leadership skills and assertiveness as well as negotiation and communication skills
