WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • New and further development of mechatronic auxiliary units for electrified vehicle powertrains, such as hybrid, BEV and especially FCEV
  • CAD design of prototypes and samples up to A-grade in CATIA V5
  • Numerical (pre-)design of assemblies and individual elements in cooperation with simulation (FEM, CFD, MBS etc.)
  • Implementation of system analyses and benchmarks
  • Preparation of documentation such as specifications, assembly plans and technical presentations
  • Commissioning and supervision of the manufacturing and assembly processes of product samples using external suppliers and the in-house prototyping department
  • Close exchange of information on construction, design and interfaces within the department, the company, vis-à-vis customers and suppliers
  • Presentation of results of the responsible scopes internally and to customers

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme
  • Vocational training is advantageous (mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, etc.)
  • In-depth experience in the use of common CAD and advance design tools (e.g. CATIA, M-Design, Kiss, FEM)
  • Experience in new and basic design of assemblies desirable
  • Knowledge of auxiliary units of the PEM fuel cell (BoP) and of the requirements of high-voltage components is an advantage
  • Confident dealing with national and international customers
  • Structured and analytical way of working, coupled with a hands-on mentality
  • Self-responsibility and self-motivation
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
