In the position as Electrical Engineer (m/f/d), you will work in a team of system developers (m/f/d) and mechanical designers (m/f/d) in the "Outdoor Components & Future Applications" department on large-scale technical projects and state-of-the-art technology. A wide variety of topics await you, such as working on walking robots, exoskeletons or operating and display systems. Likewise, there are extensive opportunities to help shape safety-related topics.

As an electrical engineer (m/f/d) you will take on the following tasks:

  • Tool-supported, production-oriented development of complex electromechanical devices and systems with technical responsibility
  • Deriving concrete development requirements from a higher-level performance specification
  • Developing solution concepts taking into account existing components
  • Cost estimation for development and production
  • Coordinating interfaces with other departments (electronic / optronic devices, circuit board development and cable development)
  • Creating and checking standard-compliant development and manufacturing documentation
  • Carrying out product data processing in SAP PLM incl. creation of parts lists
  • Planning, coordination and execution of commissioning in higher-level systems/carrier vehicles
  • Carrying out tests during development (engineering tests) and later readying for series production
  • Creation of process-compliant specifications for the areas of development, procurement and testing
  • Selection/control and supervision of subcontractors commissioned with the development service and/or production


  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics or similar
  • Many years of experience in the electrical development of devices and systems
  • Good knowledge in several of the following areas: electrical drives, power supplies, computer systems, interface electronics, input/output devices, bus systems, processors
  • Many years of experience in development with the cable development tool E3 series
  • Ideally good knowledge of mil. Norms and standards, primarily EMC and power supplies for land vehicles and ships
  • Good knowledge of SAP PLM
  • Fluent in German and very good English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
