The BOXER 8x8 vehicle armoured vehicle has been developed in a joint co-operation programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany. ARTEC is a joint-venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. It is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER Programme, the co-ordination of series production and the focal point for export opportunities. Annual sales are normally between 300 and 400 million EUR and as of February 2021 more than 1,300 BOXER vehicles have been contracted.

  • Manage and coordinate the contractual ILS requirements of one or several BOXER projects, focus on UK project
  • Focus on logistic Support Analysis, Technical Documentation (IETP/AESP) and/or Material Management
  • Act as interface between ILS and other disciplines such as Engineering and Safety within ARTEC
  • Assign and coordinate ILS tasks to specific Main Subcontractors within the Consortium (Rheinmetall and KMW)
  • Coordinate ILS matters and act as the focal point for lLS matters between industry and Official Services (OCCAR/NSPA)
  • Conduct QA activities ILS deliverables, such as Technical Documentation and Supportability Reports
  • Support the ILS working groups and the customer information meetings for one or several projects
  • Report the status of the lLS activities ARTEC internal and to the customer


  • Logistics Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, certified Engineer, RAM(S) Engineer or equivalent
  • Experience in the application of ILS to complex systems
  • Good analytical skills and holistic view of problem solving
  • Knowledge of ASD standards, with focus on S1000D and S2000M
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 preferred
  • Knowledgeable in design and development of armoured vehicle or defence related products
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of lLS relaled UK standards (AESP, DEFSTAN, DLF (JSP) ) preferred
  • Basic understanding of Database Management preferred
  • Experience in working on multilingual international programmes preferred

ARTEC GmbH is a joint venture between Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Rheinmetall Defence.
