Capacitors are essential; however, the technologies that drive them have struggled to keep pace with the markets and products they serve. As electronic systems are driven ever smaller and lighter the capacitor is often a limiting factor. 
That is why Rheinmetall Polycharge exist - to lead the development and production of truly disruptive DC link capacitors for battery-electric systems for automotive and industrial applications that inspire and enable our customers to redefine what is possible in the markets they serve. And that is, why we are looking for you: to pioneer with us the development and production of high energy density, high temperature, DC link capacitor products.
  • Development of components for eMobility applications such as inverters, power modules, DC-Link capacitors
  • Planning and execution of simulations in the field of power electronics for automotive applications down to component level
  • Evaluation and analysis of simulation results
  • Preparation and presentation of work results within the development team as well as in front of the customer
  • Alignment and close cooperation within development team (i.e. PM-D, Design- and test engineers)


  • Completed engineering degree in the field of electronics or electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics or similar
  • First experience in the development of mechatronic products
  • Specific expertise in the field of power electronics is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of modern calculation procedures and methodology, in particular Spice, Plecs, Matlab/Simulink
  • Systematic pattern of working and strong analytical skills
  • Distinct ability to work in (intercultural) teams
  • Willingness to travel on business
  • Good command of English and Hungarian, both written and spoken English
