WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Rheinmetall Expal Munitions is looking for a new Strategic Buyer for Indirect Materials and Services in Procurement at our Madrid Headquarter.
Functions:
- Development of methods for the procurement of all indirect materials, services and supplies
- Sharing of requirements with requesting departments and facilities
- Market and supplier monitoring
- Identification, selection, evaluation and further development of suppliers
- Analysis and management of procurement costs to optimize spending
- Identification of cost saving opportunities and implementation of efficiency strategies
- Active participation in the implementation of general procurement regulations (compliance, governance, trading partner rules, legal framework, etc.)
- Independent development of solutions to problems within area of responsibility
- Preparation of documents for decision making
- Conclusion of optimal agreements with suppliers, even in complex procurement processes
Location: Av. del Partenón, Madrid.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields
- At least 2 year of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
- Fluent Spanish and English
