Copy of Artisan Maintenance Fitter

The Artisan Maintenance Fitter is responsible to perform planned and general maintenance to plant and equipment.

• Maintain all infrastructure, equipment and services as per works request for maximum plant availability.
• Perform planned and statutory maintenance.
• Perform breakdown maintenance.
• Perform production change overs.
• Inspect, service and assist in repair and overhaul machinery.
• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent with a Trade Test as Fitter or Fitter and Turner.
• At least 3 Years’ applicable trade experience after Trade Test certificate.
• Code 08 driver’s licence.
• To perform breakdown maintenance.
• Perform production change overs.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime and be on standby.
• Self-disciplined.
• hardworking and enthusiastic individual.
• Neat and orderly approach to his work.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and steam systems.
