Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions Zrt., a member of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager for its new factory in Várpalota.

• Organising, managing, supervising and evaluating the work of logistics staff
• Developing logistics processes (materials handling, inventory management, transport)
• Developing and optimising the material handling chain
• Ensuring warehouse processes in accordance with the KANBAN principle
• Planning and monitoring incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Cooperation with freight forwarding companies
• Organising and carrying out annual and mid-year inventories
• Participating in business negotiations and contracting in the field
• Planning and monitoring the costs of the specialisation
• Regular reporting to the Operations Director
• Integration of logistics processes into company procedures and quality management system
• Taking part in short term business trips as required

• Specialised logistics, technical or supply chain related qualifications
• At least 5 years’ management experience in logistics and inventory management
• Valid forklift truck driver's licence (pallet jack, walkie stacker, push-post, forklift with driver seat)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Skills in leading and managing people
• Knowledge of warehouse movements, transport documentation
• Process design, process approach
• Excellent time management
• Good communication skills
