As a system engineer in function development (m/f/d) you will work in an interdisciplinary team to develop prototypical software algorithms for rapid prototyping control units. You will also take responsibility for specifying new software components for future systems and coordinating them with other departments. As part of the introduction of a new E / E architecture you will provide support in the areas of software architecture, basic software and diagnostic tools.
Your tasks:
- Function development of prototypical software algorithms for rapid prototyping control units
- Specification of new software components for future systems in the context of series development
- Support in the areas of software architecture, basic software and diagnostic tools in the context of a new E / E architecture
- Supervision and coordination of subcontractors (m/f/d)
- University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or comparable
- Experience in software development for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive or aerospace domains
- Good knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink and the programming languages C / C++
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 desirable
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Structured and independent way of working as well as strong teamwork skills
