WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Site Product Quality Specialist to ensure that Rheinmetall Expal Munitions products meet the required quality standards from the offer phase through final delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for applying quality core tools, driving root-cause analysis, supporting engineering and manufacturing teams, and ensuring a consistent quality plan across the entire product lifecycle.
What you will do:
- Drive key Product Quality activities across the site, supporting D&D, manufacturing and project teams.
- Lead root-cause analysis and ensure effective problem-solving for high-impact quality and non-quality issues.
- Develop and maintain Quaity Control Plans, inspection sheets and validation activities (including prototype tests).
- Be the quality voice in reviews, risk assessments, change processes (PCI) and customer-related quality matters.
- Manage deviations, concessions, NQCs and ensure proper documentation across the full product lifecycle.
- Collaborate daily with Quality Inspectors, Engineering and HQ Quality to ensure compliance, improvement and smooth project execution.
- Act as the site reference for quality standars (ISO 9001, AQAP 2110) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Location: Murcia, Spain.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or similar).
- At least 2 years of experience within the last 5 years in engineering, design, manufacturing, maintenance, quality assurance/control, or process engineering.
- Knowledge of quality statistics, advanced QMS, and control methods.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110.
- English proficiency (B2).
- Driving licence (B).
- Ability to travel occasionally.
