WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The PQ Testing Technician Assistant (WIL) will assist in maintaining Quality systems and provide support for acceptance/proofing and testing of various 40mm, Pyrotechnics and HE.
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:
- Ensure that RDM projects and products conform to Quality and Client requirements.
- Assist in testing all relevant products.
- Assist W.R.T serviceability and stock checks for all weapons and all jigs and fixtures used in tests.
- Assist W.R.T setting up tests, execution, data capture and data base maintenance.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards and comply to all SHE requirements.
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained.
- Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM.
- Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/ Quality/ Environmental/Energy.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- N6/NQF 5 qualification or currently studying towards a Diploma with a compulsory experiential learning component in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Electrical or equivalent qualification.
- Driver’s license (Code B).
- Able to work off site for short periods.
- Good interpersonal skills and co-ordinating capability.
- Clear security screening record.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to work in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and organising skills.
