WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Provide support to the overall RDM Supply chain strategy, in line with RDM business plan, by executing the following; Receiving of stock and services, control and management of stock, issuing of stock to end–users, material expediting for on-time delivery to end-users, coordinating material returns and management of inventory levels. |
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Ensure that the receiving process is adhered to and executed as per RDM procedures;
- Oversee the receiving process of goods and services;
- Ensure correct and safe stacking and storage of items in the warehouse;
- Implement monthly and/or weekly cycle count plan and ensure that cycle counts are conducted as scheduled;
- Ensure On-Time Goods Receipts & Binning process
- Apply FIFO for warehouse activities;
- Ensure material is issued against correct documentation and process;
- Monitor critical stock levels daily;
- Maintain correct re-order point levels in the warehouse;
- Ensure material availability in the warehouse at all times;
- Ensure that the correct return to supplier process is followed;
- Maintain 5s housekeeping and cleanliness in the warehouse;
- Maintain correct archiving and filing of documentation in the warehouse;
- Set and communicate performance targets with the warehouse team;
- Ensure daily implementation, monitoring and updating of Mini Business Unit board (MBU) for the warehouse;
- Run and analyze daily warehouse performance reports;
- Ensure that all the SHE requirements in the warehouse are adhered to;
- Maintain strict access control in the warehouse
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
POST REQUIREMENTS:
- National Diploma in the fields of Supply Chain, Operations Management or Engineering.
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in supply chain or warehousing environment.
- At least 2 years’ experience and transactional knowledge of SAP.
- Analytical and data handling skills especially for warehouse management.
- Knowledge of inventory management tools.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Technical knowledge or experience will be an added advantage.
- Professionalism and high level of integrity.
- Attention to detail.
- Good leadership skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Forklift license.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime whenever required.
