Planner

• Procurement requirements are processed on time.
• Lead stock count for responsible plants.
• Review and management of manufacturing Bills of Materials.
• Update routings and production versions.
• Manage and correct MPS and communicate plan for on time delivery to sales plan.
• Arrange inter-site collection of goods and delivery of complete products to other sites.
• Overview the capturing and reporting of works orders and WIP. Resolve discrepancies.
• Provide accurate input into all RFQ and Contract execution meetings.
• Complete and update all management reports (KPI reporting).
• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE /Quality /Environmental/Energy.

POST REQUIREMENTS:

• NQF-6 National Diploma in Commerce/ Production/Supply Chain related majors or any relevant equivalent or higher qualification.
• Proficient with an ERP/MRP system such as SAP.
• At least 3 years’ experience within a plant/production environment.
• Knowledge of materials planning and inventory control.
• Computer Literate and able to operate the Microsoft suite of products(Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
• Energetic, Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
• Good communication skills (i.e., both verbal and written).
