Project Support Officer - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the Team

Our LAND121 team support the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) in regards to our delivered HX truck fleet, ensuring the availability of the platform for decades to come. Based out of Melbourne, Victoria, the Project Support Officer will assist the Program Director with various tasks related to our LAND121 Support contract. This position is available on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract for maternity leave cover.

About the Role

The Project Support Officer will maintain oversight of the LAND121 Support Contract Data Item deliverable schedule, drawing inputs from contributors to ensure timely deliveries. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Data Items prior to submission to the CoA, upholding the high professional standard expected at Rheinmetall Defence Australia. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to Support Contract report production, liaising with RDA personnel, CoA and suppliers as required.

• Project management skills, knowledge and experience;
• Demonstrated experience working within a program environment;
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate effectively and professionally;
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities to satisfy Customer requirements;
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
