WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Assist with the development of quality system processes, program status indicators, performance measurements and reporting requirements.
- Assist with conducting internal audits according to ISO 9001:2015.
- Apply sound systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritising, communicating and resolving quality issues.
- Assist with compiling and updating PFMEAs, quality control plans and process qualifications.
- Assist with supplier complaints and qualifications.
- Collaborate in the reviewing of process inspection-data and prepare statistical and operational performance reports.
- Provide trending analysis on quality issues and performance metrics.
- Assist with the control of non-conforming items during development and series production.
- Support in product and process evaluations to identify areas for improvement and continuous improvement projects.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of engineering principles.
- Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM.
- Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
POST REQUIREMENTS:
- BEng/BTech/BSc in Chemical Engineering or NQF 7 equivalent qualification.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of experts.
- Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- A flexible analytical thinker with thoroughness and tenacity.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and demonstrate good judgement.
- Fully computer literate (all MS Office packages).
