Compliance Officer (m/f/d)

At Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, we are looking for an experienced and high-caliber Compliance Officer to lead and consolidate our compliance culture in Spain. You will serve as the strategic and operational focal point, capable of translating complex regulatory frameworks into practical, pragmatic solutions for the business. Reporting and collaborating within a high-tech multinational environment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring integrity across all levels of our operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance to management and employees on all compliance-related matters.
• Design, implement, and drive the continuous improvement of the Rheinmetall Compliance Management System.
• Lead the prevention and detection of corruption and fraud, conducting compliance risk assessments and developing actionable mitigation measures.
• Manage risk assessments and due diligence processes for business partners and third parties.
• Conduct corporate investigations, coordinating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and deliver engaging in-person and online training to foster a living compliance culture.
• Direct line management responsibilities, including defining and monitoring SMART objectives for your team.

Location: On-site position in Madrid, Spain.

• Higher academic qualification in Law, Business Administration, Compliance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate compliance, with deep knowledge of Spanish and international legal requirements.
• Strong familiarity with ISO 37301:2021 and ISO 37001:2016 standards.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and business-fluent English (C1/C2).
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
• A goord command of German will be considered a significant advantage.
