Configuration Engineer (m/f/d)

In Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, we are looking for a new Configuration Engineer to establish, implement, and govern configuration management processes.

Functions:

• Maintain and execute configuration management activities throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Ensure consistency between requirements, configuration baselines, and technical documentation throughout the system lifecycle
• Lead and coordinate engineering change management (ECM) processes.
• Perform configuration identification activities for both software and hardware products in accordance with defined procedures
• Ensure configuration documentation is properly maintained, controlled, and traceable in the PLM system in compliance with configuration management principles
• Basic knowledge of Configuration Management standards such as ACMP-2100, ACMP-2000, MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61B, ISO 10007
• General understanding of systems engineering concepts and product realization processes, including familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 (Systems Engineering – System Life Cycle Processes), STANAG 4728 and MIL-STD-1521 (Technical Reviews and Audits for Systems, Equipment, and Computer Software)
• Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools such as Siemens Polarion or similar systems

Location: Via de Dublin, Madrid

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry
• At least 2 years of experience in similar position. Preferably experience in defense industry R&D projects, particularly in product and software configuration management processes
• Project Management experience
• High English level
• Knowledge in Siemens Polarion, Team Center, MS Office
• Availability to travel to any of our factories
