Are you looking for a challenging role that combines technical depth, an international environment, and a high degree of autonomy? Then you’ve come to the right place. As an Air Defense Systems Engineer, you will support our customers on-site in the country of deployment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Technical support at the customer’s site
- Performing maintenance and repair work on the air defense system
- Fault analysis and repairs directly on-site in collaboration with the customer
- Training and support for operating personnel on technical matters
- Close collaboration with the headquarters in Switzerland—particularly regarding reporting customer needs, system observations, and optimization suggestions
- Documentation of technical work and entry into the central support system
- Use of modern technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality for remote support and diagnostics
- Completed technical vocational training as a mechanic or electronics technician (m/f/d) or equivalent
- Several years’ professional experience in a technical field is an advantage
- Ideally, military experience in the field of air defence, e.g. as a gunner or radar specialist (m/f/d)
- Strong analytical skills and a willingness to work independently in an international environment
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and a high level of commitment for long-term assignments abroad
- Category B driving licence
- Very good written and spoken English
Before your assignment abroad, you will receive comprehensive training at our Zurich site to prepare you for your duties.
