Head of Industrial Engineering (m/f/d)

Join our production team in Szeged and help shape the present and future of mobility solutions.

In this key position, you will be responsible for strategic planning, the implementation of efficient production systems, and the continuous improvement of operational processes by performing the following tasks:

• Technical and disciplinary management of the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance departments
• Core member of our production-focused plant manager team
• Continuous improvement of production processes within assembly of electromechanical components
• Ensure predictive and reactive maintenance based on manuals/ local laws and industry standards
• Develop industrial engineering and maintenance by internal and external trainings
• Track the status of the department with clear training matrix
• Ensure audit-proof documentation of predictive maintenace (e.g. SAP)
• Develop concepts (layout/ invest / cycle time/ headcount) for new production lines according to product specifications
• Support and lead 5S projects within the team
• Special focus on health and safety for all production-related machines
• Manage production-related investment projects
• Collaboration in international projects

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering or comparable
• 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position
• 3+ years in the field of serial production of electric-mechanical components
• Experience in the optimisation of technical production processes
• Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
  • Basic German is a plus, but not mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Strong leadership skills
• Openness, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel
