IT On-site Support (m/f/d)

Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva, a member of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for an experienced person to support the IT processes of its new factory in Baisogala. As the first point of contact for our departments and IT users, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Acceptance, evaluation and prioritization of incidents and service requests
• Processing and resolution of known incidents and service requests
• Implementing, managing and coordinating daily operations site support (incl. Network utilization, server performance, procurement and testing of hard-and software)
• Close cooperation with our system specialists and management of external service providers
• Investigate technical issues and provide solutions in cooperation with the regional IT team
• Monitor, control and assign tickets according to SLA requirements
• Documentation of solution descriptions
• Teach and empower site personnel for the use of IT-based technologies
• Assistance with questions about the use of IT applications and IT systems
• Participation in the deployment of the IT network of the new site

• Completed studies in IT or related field
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar position
• Practical experience with IT processes according to ITIL Best Practices is desirable
• Fluent Lithuanian and English language skills, German is an advantage
• Good knowledge of leading technology PC architectures and hardware technologies
• Excellent knowledge of common standard software applications (e.g. MS-Office, SAP)
• High service and customer orientation
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
