Production Intern

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Intern will provide dedicated support to Plant Managers in monitoring variances and ensuring stock accuracy. Interns will work closely with the Works Order Administrator and production teams to strengthen compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Plant Managers with variance tracking and reconciliation.
• Support stock accuracy initiatives, including data verification and reporting.
• Work alongside the Works Order Administrator to process and monitor works orders.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for production records.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare basic reports and summaries for management review.
• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

• National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent qualification
• Administrative certificate would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Computer literate.
• Exceptional communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment
