WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Plan and coordinate supplier quality activities in cooperation with suppliers and internal departments
- Coordinate and monitor APQP and PPAP activities
- Plan and perform initial sample inspections and support component release
- Plan and conduct supplier process audits according to VDA 6.3
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and follow up on identified quality issues
- Drive process improvements together with suppliers in a national and international environment
- Monitor supplier quality performance and prepare KPIs and reports for management
- Cooperate closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Project Management
- Support continuous improvement of supplier quality processes
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Technical education or university degree in engineering, quality management or a comparable field
- Additional qualification in quality management / auditing is an advantage
- Several years of experience in supplier quality management, quality management or supplier development
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and VDA 6.3
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Structured, independent and analytical way of working
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Good written and spoken English and Romanian language skills
Location: on-site, at our headquarters in Mediaș, Sibiu County. This is a full-time engineering position — remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.
