Training Manager

OMNIA Training is primed by Raytheon UK, but all five partners (Raytheon, Rheinmetall, Capita, Skyral and Cervus) are key to delivering the scope of the contract.

Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the training delivery aspect of the contract meaning that you will be at the front and centre of British Army training.

Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.

The Training Manager will be accountable for ensuring the training packages are in place to support use of collective training equipment (i.e. Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES)) and the use of collective training sites. This will include current equipment and sites as well as future equipment and sites.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical writing skills to produce clear, concise and engaging content for e-learning.
• Ability to simplify complex or large amounts of information into manageable and palatable learning components.
• Ability to work with subject matter experts to gather, validate and structure training content.
• Experience of working with e-learning management systems – knowledge of the Defence Learning Environment is desirable.
• Ability to create interactive questions to evaluate learning.

Soft Skills

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Creativity in designing engaging and interactive training content.
• Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy, consistency and quality of training courses.

Personal Attributes

You’ll want to work in collaboration with other defence training organisations, and the British Army. You won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of what needs to be done, you’ll learn lessons and share these lessons across the team.
