Warehouse Manager

About the Team

Our Warehousing and Logistics team support the daily operation of our production facility here at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Queensland. The team of approximately 50 consists of Warehouse Operators, Material Coordinators and Team Leads. The primary focus of the team is to supply materials to our production lines to ensure the ongoing production of our Boxer product.

About the Role

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operation of the warehouse at MILVEHCOE and other offsite facilities. The successful candidate will have the ability to train and mentor warehouse staff to ensure they are able to perform their tasks to the required standard. The successful candidate will be well versed in relevant regulations (i.e. HSE Regulations, Chain of Responsibility, etc.) and be able to confidently develop policies, processes and procedures to support the continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Demonstrated experience in management of warehouse operations;
• Relevant qualifications in Logistics and Warehousing;
• Proven experience in managing and improving warehouse operations and performance, including warehouse layout and design, KPIs and stock control;
• Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred); and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
