WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Responsible for specifying, establishing, and managing quality measures in quotations and projects as well as creating, establishing, and maintaining the quality management plan, the test procedure plan, and the document overview
- Communicating quality-related issues with customers, ZtQ, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring compliance with all processes in the business line, programs and projects as well as the Independent assessment of project/product status for internal reporting
- Responsible for initiating and creating test and acceptance planning and preparing as well as documenting quality gates
- Planning, conducting, and evaluating engineering reviews and monitoring the implementation of measures specified in the ER and QG
- Coordinating reviews of project documents and their approval as well as participating in the creation of project-related documents
- Co-decision on the selection of suppliers and participation in supplier audits
- Responsible for defining quality criteria for orders placed with suppliers and also responsible for the review and approval of orders with regard to quality requirements
- Coordinating, conducting, and deciding on the approval of initial sample tests at and with suppliers
- Responsible for production and series approval at suppliers
- Coordinating, conducting, and deciding on production approval at RME as well as for deciding on approval for product testing by the customer
- Checking and approving test reports, outgoing goods inspections, and approval for delivery to customers
- Rejecting and returning services in the event of non-performance and also preparing all information for assessing product conformity as a decision-making aid for authorized signatories
- Responsible for issuing factory certificates and other product certificates
- Co-decision on the tolerance of defective purchased parts and on the release of change requests
- Reporting the results from ER, QG, and customer acceptances or delivery inspections in the internal ticket tools and planning and estimating the services of a project quality manager (m/f/d) for future projects within the scope of offers
- Responsible for assigned project cost centers and participation in cost-to-complete
- Collaboration in and moderation of cross-project and cross-departmental quality measures
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed a technical bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience in project-related quality management, spanning many years
- Proficiency in the application of quality management principles and development standards
- Proven experience with system, hardware, and software development methodologies
- Experience in verification and testing methods
- Extensive expertise in test procedures, methods, and review/audit techniques
- Business fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for this position
- Capacity to travel extensively on a global scale
- A poised and assertive demeanor, coupled with exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Proven ability to manage conflict effectively
