As Team Leader Integration Vehicle Device (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the technical management of a design team which is responsible for the holistic mechanical integration of equipment sets in military systems.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Technical leadership of a design team with a focus on the design of mechanical brackets and integration of platform-specific electrical devices, which are defined by a project-specific device list (power distribution, lighting, ...)
- Planning, coordination and organization of the work from the creation of the work package to series production readiness
- Holistic integration of set-up kits / device kits / installation kits / mission kits
- Testing and design of functional assemblies for mission fulfillment, kinematic systems and complex stowage systems in military systems under ergonomic, protective and functional boundary conditions
- Creation of specifications / functional specifications
- Implementation or initiation of verifications for the integrated components
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in the field of design, vehicle and plant construction with initial experience in leading a team and managing external development partners
- Sound knowledge of MS Office, strong knowledge of CAD and PLM programs, e.g. Siemens NX
- Knowledge of DOORS and MS Project desirable
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong technical understanding and creative system thinking
- Ability to work independently, teamwork and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
