Category Buyer (m/f/d)

• Operational order processing, reporting and general master data maintenance
• Conducting negotiations and placing orders within the framework of concrete specifications, taking into account in particular future order quantities
• Independent handling of order processes (in SAP) and documentation of purchasing transactions
• Obtaining technical/commercial offers and evaluating them (e.g. price comparisons)
• Execution of deadline tracking incl. claiming (e.g. offer binding deadlines, deliveries, order confirmations, certificates)
• Processing of claims in cooperation with the Category Manager (notification of defects, documentation in specified tools, coordination with interface partners and suppliers)
• Checking specifications for completeness/ plausibility and clarification of discrepancies (non-technical) as well as reconciliation of requirements with SAP and in direct coordination with the Strategic Procurement Manager and other interface partners
• Proactive analysis of critical procurement transactions and initiation of countermeasures

• Completed technical bachelor's degree or comparable qualification, or technical vocational education with many years of relevant professional experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as a purchaser in the relevant field and industry (defence, electronic industry, automotive, energy sector, etc.)
• Good knowledge of contract law is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP, and business administration
• Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure, self-reliant action
• Strong analytical and administrational skills
• Good communicational skills, positive attitude
• Very good Hungarian and English language skills both written and spoken, German is an advantage
