Physical Architecture Engineer

About the Team

Based out of our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) the Physical Architecture Engineer will work in conjunction with the Senior Engineer, Physical Architecture and form part of the wider Repair variant IPT.

About the Role

The Physical Architecture Engineer will provide physical architecture integration expertise to enable the successful programme delivery of the Repair variant in relation to the LAND400-2 contract. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to design engineers to ensure that the designed system is integrated, coherent, balanced, supportable and able to be transitioned successfully into the manufacturing phase. The Physical Architecture Engineer will have the ability to excel in cross-functional teams with the ability to apply systems engineering methodologies effectively within this environment.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Bachelor degree (minimum) in Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia;
• Proven experience in developing and managing physical concepts in CAD;
• Experience in interpreting and analysing complex functional requirements;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
