About the Team

Join a small, high-impact team within Rheinmetall Defence’s Weapon and Ammunitions business unit, delivering critical Protections Systems projects including MASS, and Sea Mines sustainment.

Working closely with the Program Director – Weapons, Ammunition and Protection, you’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for taking projects through manufacturing, integration, delivery and the through life sustainment of those products. About the Role

Due to growth within the program, we have a new role as Project Manager – Support Services (Weapons and Ammunitions). You’ll manage project schedules, resources and budgets while tracking performance, reporting progress and proactively identifying and managing risks. This is a varied role that will see you work across multiple areas of the business, ensuring projects remain on track and are delivered successfully.

We’re looking for someone with a background in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or product lifecycle sustainment who is ready to manage new projects moving from acquisition/delivery to sustainment.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

  • Tertiary qualification Project Management, ILS or any other in a relevant equivalent
  • Background in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or other Support Service areas.
  • Excellent demonstrated Project and Financial management;
  • Experience in working under an ASDEFCON contract
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
  • Long weekends every second week with a 9-day fortnight;
