Project Manager- Support Services Digital Systems

About the Team

Join our close-knit Digital Systems (DS) team and play a key role in supporting one of Australia’s largest defence programs, LAND 400 Phase 2, with opportunities to contribute across future Rheinmetall projects. Our Team delivers innovative electronic products that support mission success which is a combination of simulation and training systems and electronic components for the Boxer vehicle. About the Role

As our Project Manager – Support Services, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, maintenance and support of mission equipment and simulator / training equipment deliveries to for our customer. You’ll work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, contract compliance and operational readiness. You’ll monitor project performance, budget, risk and KPIs while driving continuous improvements and delivering regular progress updates. The role also requires an oversight of the strategic spares to be maintained for several Commonwealth locations within Australia.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Great experience in managing projects and project resources
• Knowledge of ASDEFCON contract documentation, both acquisition and support.
• Ability to analyse issues to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
• High level of self-motivation and standards with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to travel international and interstate, when required.
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
