Sales Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and managing the sales and bid activities for our company, Rheinmetall Electronics Hungary Kft. in Budapest, as part of the Division Digital Systems. The role requires a self-reliant, agile professional with a collaborative mindset. The area of responsibility will include:

• Sales activities for the company concerning the defence products and competencies that are relevant for the given company
• Managing existing and new B2G and B2B clients, and acquiring new clients
• Implementation of the sales strategy in close collaboration with Business Development
• Managing the bid, proposal and tender processes, and generating new orders
• Preparing and maintaining tender documents, and carrying out cost calculations via the involvement of internal stakeholders
• Conducting contract negotiations and drafting
• Project-related coordination with other departments, in particular with Project
• Management, Procurement, Finance and Engineering
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and processes
• Implementing client- and business-related measures as part of business development
• Integrated task management, progress measurement and reporting
• Risk and claim management
• Completing the job-related administration

• A successfully completed degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in the sales of complex solutions
• Industry knowledge in the field of electronics / digital systems / prototype manufacturing / or other comparable fields
• Technical and commercial acumen, as well as project management experience
• Military experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong organising, structuring and negotiation skills
• Hands-on mentality, reliability and strong results orientation
• Multi-tasking, good communication skills, able to work under pressure
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate a good level of self-initiative, independent and self-reliant action
• Business-level English and fluency in the Hungarian language, written and spoken (good command of German is an advantage)
• Willingness to travel on business
