About the Team

Our C4i (CISRS) Engineering team consists of a combination of Software Developers and Systems Engineers, operating out of our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Queensland. This cross-functional team operate as a key stakeholder for all variants of the Boxer platform in relation to LAND 400 Ph2.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineering within the CISRS team, you will work closely with the Software Engineering Lead to design, develop, integrate and verify our CISRS product in relation to our contracted ASDEFCON deliverables. You could expect some of your daily tasking to include: conceiving and recommending solutions in response to Requirements; participating in formal and informal Design Reviews; and mentor assigned and other less experienced team members.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• High level of proficiency in DevOps, C/C++ and Python in a Linux environment;
• Strong acumen for design, development and testing of object-oriented, distributed systems;
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences;
• Highly desired experience includes exposure to:
  • Distributed Systems;
  • Mission-Critical, Real-Time Systems;
  • IP Networking, Distributed Data Service (DDS);
  • Generic Vehicle Architecture (GVM);
  • Land Data Model (LDM);
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
