WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process across all Rheinmetall Denel Munition sites nationally. This includes attracting, sourcing, assessing, and securing suitably qualified candidates to meet the organisation’s current and future workforce requirements.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Assist with the implementation of recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Building networks and talent pools, actively sourcing for profiles in applicant tracking system.
- Identifying new recruitment trends and channels, monitoring the market success of various recruitment products.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition approval to appointment.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers.
- Coach managers on interviewing and selection best practices.
- Ensure timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilise LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing.
- Support succession and workforce planning initiatives.
- Represent the organisation at career fairs and networking events.
- Support graduate, internship, and bursary programmes.
- Ensure recruitment complies with employment legislation.
- Support Employment Equity objectives.
- Maintain accurate recruitment documentation.
- Ensure fair and unbiased selection processes.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees
- Coordinate employee relocation arrangements, including travel, accommodation, and household removals where applicable.
- Manage relocation documentation, quotations, purchase requisitions, invoices, and payment processes.
- Track relocation costs and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate and employee experience at all stages of the employment lifecycle.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources / Industrial and Organisational Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years‘ experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Experience in Manufacturing/ FMCG would be advantageous.
- Experience in psychometric assessments would be advantageous.
- Experience in managing onboarding.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
- Working knowledge of recruitment and selection best practices.
- Knowledge of applicable legislations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Good computer skills (MS Office).
- Strong administration and report writing skills.
- Valid code 8 licence.
- Willing and able to travel to various company sites as required.
