As the Composing Service Deputy, you will support and manage the team responsible for the delivery of scenarios that deliver realistic, relevant and challenging training for Combined Arms Manoeuvre (CAM) in a Combined, Joint, Intra-governmental, Interagency, Multinational (CJIIM) context, and that are consistent across Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) environments. You will maintain the technical roadmap for LVC scenario evolution and ensure our training products keep pace with Army doctrine, emerging threats, evolving military technology and coalition interoperability requirements.

 

Essential Skills

• Experience in British Army formation headquarters, at brigade or divisional level.

• Proven track record in defence training scenario design and military planning.

• Leadership experience within armed forces or defence organisations.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across ranks and departments.

• Proficiency in training management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Eligible for and willing to obtain relevant security clearances.

Desirable Skills

• Experience leading joint force or multinational training initiatives.

• Professional certifications in leadership or instruction.

• Adaptable mindset with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

• Understanding of AI-enabled simulation or scenario generation.
