WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Perform accounting in line with Romanian GAAP and tax laws
- Daily operation of invoices from suppliers, checking purchase and sales journals before closing VAT
- Act as first point of contact for finance-related employee queries
- Improve and develop accounting processes
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to 3-year mid-term financial planning
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed Bachelor's degree in finance/economics and completed certified accountant qualification/registration as certified accountant
- Several years of work experience in accounting, preferably in a general role
- Confident skills in MS-Office programs, excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- SAP / Power BI (and similar) knowledge is an advantage
- Business fluent in written and spoken English and Romanian, knowledge of German is an advantage
- Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
