Inhouse Senior Specialist Application Manager – SAP PP Production (m/f/d)

• Responsible for SAP module support and customizing, primarily for the PP (QM) module
• Active participation in 2nd level support for incident management and change management, as well as contact person for key users
• Support in the programming and testing of software components
• Advising and supporting our business partners in the context of process-related support and optimization, new development and design of business processes in the application landscape
• Harmonization, optimization, and further development of our system and application landscape in the area of production, including SAP S/4HANA
• Active participation in innovative projects from planning, coordination and implementation to taking over (partial) project management
• Coordination and management of external IT service providers as part of ensuring ongoing operations and IT project work
• Contributing to the creation of program, system and user documentation

This position can be filled at the locations in Düsseldorf, Kassel, Kiel, Bremen, Unterlüß, Berlin and Neuenstadt.

• Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in consulting and application management and/or comparable tasks
• Comprehensive knowledge in the operation and user support of production-related applications
• In-depth knowledge of production and related logistics processes as well as SAP PP (QM, PM) (customizing, debugging, etc.)
• Good knowledge in the SAP logistics area WM, LO, LE (MM-IM) (customizing etc.) desirable
• Knowledge of classic enhancement technologies (user exits, etc.) and sound knowledge of interface programming (IDOC, RFC, etc.) desirable
• Experience in S/4HANA such as PEO, PP/DS is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Willingness to travel (10-20%), partly internationally
