Inventory Planning & Operations Manager

About the Team

You will be a part of the Services business unit as we move towards sustainment for the L400-2 Boxer. As the Inventory Planning & operations Manager, you’ll be central to building the sustainment foundation, shaping our organisation, and working towards exceptional sustainment outcomes for the Australian Defence Force.

About the Role

Inventory Planning & Operations Manager ensures the clarity and continuity of policy, process, procedure and systems across the inventory management functions and their integration across the business. With accountability for the continuous improvement of Inventory processes through coordination with the customer and all relevant RDA departments.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Degree qualification in supply chain management or related experience;
• Great experience in inventory management or inventory planning;
• Extensive experience in spare parts management (in its holistic form as defined by DSD SUP-100, SUP-300 and SUP-400);
• Extensive experience in the use of spare parts management systems;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
