Senior Network Operations Specialist (m/f/d)

• Responsibility for the trouble-free operation of the Rheinmetall Group's network infrastructure
• Analysis and rectification of interferences as part of 2nd level support (NOC)
• Administration and further development of the global network infrastructure
• Continuous further development of the network management and monitoring tools and processes used
• Planning and implementation of patch, change and configuration management
• Documentation and automation of workflows, recurring requirements and interferences
• Collaboration in IT projects in the areas of (W)LAN, WAN and security

The position can be filled at the locations Düsseldorf, Berlin, Kassel, Kiel, Neuenstadt, Unterlüß and Bremen.

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or comparable training
• Many years of professional experience in the network environment
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, switching, routing, WAN, (W)LAN, 802.1x etc.
• Many years of operational experience in monitoring and ensuring the trouble-free operation of the network infrastructure as well as in troubleshooting complex network infrastructures
• Relevant manufacturer-specific certifications desirable 
• Assertiveness, flexibility and intercultural competence
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
