Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)

• Support for the development and subsequent operation of the network infrastructure in the areas of network security services
• Responsibility for conception, development, 3rd-level operation and documentation of firewall, application layer gateway, remote access and other commodity and basic security components
• Planning and continuous further development of the security technologies used, taking into account service requirements, operational aspects and cost-effectiveness in coordination with the Operations, IT Security and Architecture departments
• Investigation, evaluation and implementation of innovations and new network security technologies
• Communication with suppliers and manufacturers

The position can be filled at the locations Berlin, Düsseldorf, Kassel, Kiel, Unterlüß, Bremen and St. Leon-Rot.

• Completed studies in (business) informatics or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience with e.g. Next Generation Firewalls (CheckPoint, Genua), Application Layer Gateways/Security Gateways (Blue Coat, F5, ZScaler) or Remote Access (NCP, Genua, Secunet, Pulse Secure)
• Operational experience in operation, monitoring and service levels of network security components
• Knowledge of project management in an international environment desirable
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as well as to participate in on-call duties
• Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
