Service Technician Overseas (m/f/d)

• After the specialized training in Zurich, you will represent the company as a permanently assigned mechanical or electrical system technician at the customer's repair sites in the Middle East region
• You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks on the 35mm air defense system at the customer's site (gun, sensor unit, power supply, hydraulics, brakes, air conditioning, etc.)
• You will support and advise the customer's technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance as well as logistic tasks in workshops and at the different bases
• You will conduct "on-the-job-trainings" for the customer's personnel and ensure the correct operation of the system
• Furthermore, you support the customer in the analysis of technical problems
• In addition, you will recommend acceptable solutions for improvements to the customer to increase the overall maintainability and readiness of the system
• You will operate and maintain test equipment, special tools as well as complete test benches

• Advanced mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications, confirmed by certification recognized in Switzerland or the EU according to ISO standards
• You have a work and residence permit for Switzerland
• Willingness to spend several years abroad in the Middle East
• Good communication skills coupled with a high degree of independence, resilience and flexibility
• You have experience and the ability to properly conduct on-the-job trainings
• Strong intercultural competence
• Very good written and spoken German and English (IELTS level B2 or equivalent)
• Very good user skills (MS Office) as well as SAP knowledge would be an advantage
• You have a driving license for the category passenger car
