WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As part of technical project management, you will be responsible for the technical success of the respective projects in the field of land simulation. We create holistic training solutions with scalable levels of accuracy, from individual handling and procedural training to collective crew and tactical training at vehicle, platoon or company level. For our national and international customers, we offer a smooth transition from training simulator to real combat vehicle with our immersive training solutions.

In the role of Technical Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for and manage the technical implementation of projects from the offer/concept phase through the development phase to the introduction and utilisation phase.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible implementation of technical management as part of proposal processing and system development (specialising in software development)
  • Coordination of all development activities and specialist departments involved
  • Monitoring technical project planning and maintaining processes
  • Structuring and creation of system documents
  • Elaboration and documentation of conceptual solutions
  • Carrying out the definition, planning and control of work packages (IST/SOLL)
  • Responsible for cost to complete considerations
  • Responsible for representing the project internally and externally
  • Control of progress and outflow of funds
  • Implementation of reporting and presentation of development results in project status meetings
  • Supporting the project manager in claim management with suppliers and customers
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or experience in leading development teams
  • Knowledge of requirements engineering and architecture creation
  • Experience in international projects is desirable
  • You have a talent for organisation and work in a very structured manner
  • You can master difficult situations creatively, look for solutions and can represent them clearly
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German 
  • You are willing to travel worldwide, we will take personal situations into account when travelling on business
