WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In the position as a Test Engineer Software (m/f/d) you have the chance to work in a high-performing team for software development and testing in support of simulation programs in land, air and maritime domains.
We are looking for the future gamechangers, versed in the technology, not afraid to step into a new industry not present before in Hungary with capabilities to push this industry forward.

In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Implementation and execution of test cases on multiple levels of testing 
  • Creation of test specifications and instructions based on the software requirements
  • Development of test tools for automated and manual testing
  • Support of the developers with error localization
  • Evaluation and reporting of test results and test metrics
  • Monitoring of test progress and derivation of process improvements
  • Support of developers in the implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement measures
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of experience in the creation, execution and automation of software tests
  • Ability to read and debug at least one major object-oriented programming language (C++,C#, Java)
  • Experience in the field of distributed systems/network analysis preferred
  • Experience testing non-functional system requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability is a big plus
  • Experience in modern CI/CD automation practices
  • Quick grasp and understanding of complex software systems
  • Very good English and Hungarian language skills, written and spoken
  • Openness to travel for business occasionally, usually to Germany
