Rheinmetall, the largest supplier of military vehicles to the Australian Defence Force is exhibiting the strength and capability of future land forces with combat, combat logistics and dismounted combat on display.

Gary Stewart, Managing Director Rheinmetall Defence Australia said the organisation’s display showcases a wide range of capability improvements and new systems including; dismounted combat technologies via integrated soldier systems; C2 networks showcasing mounted and dismounted combat teaming; combat logistics with the HX truck and an automated load handling system (ALHS); autonomy with robotic vehicles; and wheeled and tracked mounted combat capabilities with the Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle and Lynx Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

The Rheinmetall Boxer Reconnaisance Vehicle is featured with a remote controlled turret concept demonstrator; an Australian-designed concept showcasing the ability to operate the existing turret in new configurations.

“Rheinmetall Defence Australia continues to build on sovereign capability to deliver a robust and agile roadmap of proficiency and competence for the Australian Defence Force and allied international armed forces,“ Mr. Stewart said.

Rheinmetall Defence Australia has one of the largest displays at Land Forces 2022, held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 4-6 October. Registered delegates are invited to visit the Rheinmetall Defence Australia stand at 1T13.
