Rheinmetall is launching the exciting "UK Gun Hall" project – a state-of-the-art large calibre barrel production facility in Telford, Shropshire.
This landmark investment plays a critical role in re-establishing the UK's sovereign capability to manufacture artillery barrels, strengthening national defence resilience and supporting long-term industrial growth.
The UK Gun Hall forms part of a wider strategic partnership between UK and Germany under the Trinity House Agreement, reinforcing shared defence industrial capabilities. It will complement Rheinmetall’s established weapons and munitions production facility in Unterluss, Germany.

We are particularly seeking CNC Operators (Turning & Milling) to support production start-up this year, alongside a wide range of roles across manufacturing and support functions.
Over the coming months, the project is expected to create around 100 skilled jobs at the facility, with additional employment support across the wider business.
