WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Analytical Chemist student will undergo training on laboratory test methods and support the laboratory department with analytical testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparation of laboratory solutions.
- Assisting in the testing of routine samples.
- Assist with generating and writing laboratory reports.
- Adhering to laboratory code of practise and GLP procedures.
- Ensure laboratories comply with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
POST REQUIREMENTS:
- Chemistry N6, with requirement for Work Integrated Learning to graduate.
- Computer Literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Valid Code 8/10 Driver’s License will be adventageous .
- Basic knowledge of analytical processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
