Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the Training Delivery aspect of the contract, and this role will be fundamental in enabling this as part of a Rheinmetall Programme team.  This is more than a job — it’s a mission. Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win. The Role: The role is the Government Furnished Asset (GFA) Manager; this role will be responsible for ensuring GFA issued to REUK is managed appropriately. The Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Government Furnished Equipment and company assets across the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) programme. The role ensures compliance with MOD standards and supports the delivery of training capabilities through effective asset governance, tracking and reporting. Responsibilities & Tasks Maintain and update the Rheinmetall Public Stores Account (PSA) in accordance with DEF STAN 05-099 and DEFCON 694. Oversee the delivery, receipt, inspection, acceptance, rejection and return of GFA using MOD Forms (e.g. 650, 651, 750). Produce company procedures and processes for handling GFA. Manage loss, status and disposal reporting. Collaborate with the Omnia GFA Lead, Site Custodians, customer representatives and supply chain partners to ensure accurate asset tracking and accountability. Provide input into obsolescence management activities. Work with the Export Manager to ensure compliance with export control regulations. Work with the commercial and subcontract managers to ensure compliance with IP governance requirements. Oversee asset audits and reporting.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in asset management In depth understanding of MOD GFA DEFCON and DEFSTANs Experience of managing a Public Stores Account and MOD documentation Ability to use asset management tools Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Highly organised with ability to communicate verbally and in writing Problem-solving and correction abilities
