Network Operations Specialist WAN (m/f/d)

• Responsibility for the trouble-free operation of the WAN infrastructure of the Rheinmetall Group
• Analysis and elimination of faults within the scope of 2nd level support (NOC)
• Administration and further development of the global WAN infrastructure
• Ensuring smooth operational processes in close cooperation with carriers and providers
• Planning and implementation of patch, change and configuration management
• Documentation and automation of workflows, recurring requirements and faults
• Collaboration in IT projects in the area of (W)LAN, WAN and security

The position can be filled at the Berlin, Bremen and Unterlüß locations.

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the network environment
• Very good knowledge of current WAN technologies such as SD-WAN, MPLS
• Operational experience in operation, monitoring and service levels of WAN components
• Confident handling of ITSM systems
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
• Process-oriented thinking and strong service mentality
