Site Manager (m/f/d)

• Coordination of the various interdisciplinary specialist services on site for the duration of the “construction phase”, ensuring the smooth running of construction operations (including checking logistics – ensuring materials are available on site in the required quantities and quality) for subcontractors, and carrying out inspections
• Collaboration with international subcontractors
• Direct point of contact for the client (BAIUDBw construction office – directly on site) at the site (e.g. establishing contact in the event of change orders or delays; liaising with the German Armed Forces, further processing by the back office; regular status reports to the German Armed Forces)
• Managing the construction site in accordance with the Regulation on Health and Safety on Construction Sites (Construction Site Regulation); deployment of personnel by third parties, supervision of activities by the site manager
• Management of the property following completion of the construction site
• Disciplinary management responsibility

• Degree in civil engineering or comparable
• Extensive specialist experience in similar projects
• Experience in a military context is desirable
• Knowledge of MS Project
• German language skills at least at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
• Written and spoken English language skills (C1 level)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external partners
• Structured, systematic and solution-oriented approach to work
• The ability to analyse technical issues quickly and propose pragmatic solutions
• Willingness to take on responsibility and prepare decisions
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate effectively in an international environment
